Toula and April: Furry Friends Fur-Ever
“We have always had cats in the past,” according to April. “And so, when we felt it was time to adopt another one, I reviewed the many photos on the Furry Friends website and attended one of their adoption events at PetSmart.
“Truthfully, this kitty chose me. But what sealed the deal was that she was good with dogs. Although Serenity was her original name, we renamed her Toula, the name of a cat from a game we enjoy. Then, as soon as our dog heard Toula enter the house, she thought I had brought home a kitty for her!
“Happily, Toula’s adjustment to living in our home was immediate, and we all love her. She not only gets along wonderfully with our dog, she’s particularly playful and especially enjoys chasing after her Mad Cat Super Feather Wacky Wand Cat Toy.
“While she prefers not to be picked up, Toula loves being petted and then sleeping on my lap. Her most endearing habit is that she follows me everywhere I go.
“At night, she sleeps soundly with us in our bed.”
