‍ ‍Furry Friends Cat Rescue to Host Garage Sale

‍ ‍(Vancouver, WA) Furry Friends is hosting a garage sale to raise funds for the cats and kittens in their care. The festivities will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 30 and will end at 4:00 PM. The huge sale will be held at the American Legion located at 4607 NE St James Road, Vancouver, WA 98663.

‍ ‍We are asking that any donation be brought to the Legion on the day before the sale, Friday, May 29 from 10:00 to 4:00 pm.

‍ ‍We are also asking for minimal glass type items, no dirty excessively used items, no items that have been around excess cigarette smoke, no super old items unless they are sought after items now, no broken items, no used litter pans, excessively used cat trees/cat beds, clothes should be washed, etc.‍‍ ‍

Why are we fundraising?‍ ‍

Springtime is when love is in the air, and we start to see "kitten season" kick into full swing. We anticipate performing over 900 spay/neuter surgeries this year to help reduce the cat population in our community. The funds from garage sale will go toward the over $70,000 cost of spay/neuter services Furry Friends is projecting and help to cover extraordinary medical expenses for cats that need that extra TLC to get them into a loving home. ‍‍ ‍

On Sept 25th, 2025 Furry Friends will participate in #Givemore24!, a day of giving that encourages individuals, communities, and organizations to come together and support the causes that matter most.
