Tilly and the Sanborns: Furry Friends Fur-Ever

“Having seen a posting of Tilly on the Furever Friends site, my husband and I arranged to attend their adoption event at the PetSmart in East Vancouver over the Thanksgiving weekend,” Rachel says.

“Although she was originally named Timbi, we call our now 9-month-old kitten, Tilly (short for Tillamook cheese). The reason we adopted her was simple. She looked directly into my eyes when we first met and allowed me to hold her! As an added bonus, she was also very talkative and very inquisitive. It was love at first sight!

“While Tilly is presently the only pet in our home, my husband and I have had several cats over the years, and we both love their independent and playful spirits. Tilly, who’s exceptionally loving, has the tiniest meow, and makes a little trill noise when she ‘talks.’

“The perfect blend of active and affectionate, she derives the greatest pleasure out of playing fetch, always bringing her various little toys back to us so that we can throw them for her again and again. Tilly is also a great fan of sitting on laps, which is so very sweet and calming. Not only is her fur soft and luxurious, she LOVES to be petted as much as we LOVE petting her!

“Most nights, she sleeps in our bed between my husband and me.

“Thank you for raising such a wonderful kitten. She just brings us so much joy!”
