Tackle and Spinner and Jen Day : Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail

“Imagine two sisters living outdoors, who were ultimately found under a tackle store and rescued,” says Jen. “Now imagine them being called Tackle and Spinner, and you have the two feral kitties I recently adopted from Furry Friends!

“Because I bonded quickly with one while the other was, shall we say, ‘hissy,’ I adopted both to keep them together. Needless to say, their adjustment to our home has been very, very gradual. But we love them so much, and they’re simply so funny.

“Although Tackle and Spinner were frightened at first when they met our older male cat, not to mention our large Mastiff, they all love each other now. Both Tackle and Spinner LOVE playing with and chasing strings, balls and dice, LOVE running up their cat tree and LOVE curling up in their cat beds.

“They both enjoy being petted, especially on their stomachs, and will purr and roll over, but I can’t pick them up. They still have their restrictions. What makes me laugh, though, is the way Tackle loves to attack, and love bite my hand and then wants to be petted!

“I’m currently going through a divorce, so Tackle and Spinner are my ‘gifts.’ We all sleep in the living room, and they sleep in their cozy cat beds: they’re not ready to sleep in a ‘real’ bed with me yet. I love them so, so much and want to thank Furry Friends for all of your help.”
