Roba and the Wagners: Furry Friends Fur-Ever
“While we’ve had various cats in the past, Roba, who was formerly called Pookie, is the first one we’ve adopted from Furry Friends,” says Karina.
“When we saw her absolutely adorable face on the Furry Friends website, she instantly captured our hearts. And after meeting her at an adoption event at PetSmart, we knew that we had made the right decision. To our delight, Roba’s adjustment to our home took only a few days. She’s added so much fun to our daily lives, along with lots of activity, especially for our 7-year-old daughter.
“She and Roba are best friends, and perfectly match each other’s energy. What makes us smile is how playful Roba is and how very devoted she is to our daughter. We essentially adopted Roba for her, and we’re happy to see that they’ve bonded so well.
“Always active, Roba, quite naturally, loves games and playing with toys, particularly toys that dangle. Occasionally aloof, preferring her own company to ours, Roba does sometimes enjoy being petted and cuddled. As for her sleeping arrangements at night? She usually sleeps in the hallway next to our closed bedroom door or on the back of the couch cushions in the living room.”
