Patch and the Byers: Furry Friends Fur-Ever

“We currently have two cats,” says Krystin, “but they’re my husband Chris’s cats.

“I, on the other hand, always had dogs growing up. I lost my two dogs to cancer several years ago, and although we got another dog, I still felt something was missing. Then I saw Patch on Reddit and I needed her! She was so adorable.

“I picked her up at her foster home and her adjustment to living here was immediate. She instantly felt asleep in my lap and has ruled our place ever since! Now I couldn’t imagine my life without her. Patch is the most goofy, adorable and brave kitty. She truly is the best girl, and she makes me laugh all the time. She’s very talkative, adores her toys and especially enjoys roaming all of the high shelves in the house.

“Patch and our dog are friends, and when she isn’t being a menace to the older of our two cats, he loves her. And speaking of love. Patch LOVES feather toys and spring toys. She carries the spring toys around and goes crazy!

“When she’s being wild, she likes being independent, but when she’s sleepy, she loves lying on me. And she’s supremely snuggly in the morning when she wakes up. What I find particularly endearing about her is how she meows at me for almost everything and makes little noises. I not only love how goofy and very brave she is, I love how curious she is, and I love watching her learn.
“At night, Patch usually sleeps in bed with me, that is, when she’s not racing around!”
