Milo and Jessica Halicus: Furry Friends Fur-Ever

“As a cat person, I’ve always had cats in the past,” Jessica says.

“After viewing numerous photos on the Furry Friends website, I decided to visit the shelter. As soon as Milo was shown to me, I just fell in love with him. Happily for us both, he adjusted pretty quickly to living in my house. He’s definitely made my life more joyful. I was grieving terribly after having to put my sweet senior kitty down, and he helped me begin to heal.

“While Milo likes to play with all sorts of cat toys, he especially likes this electronic toy I bought him. Although he loves pets and scratches, he only allows me to hold him for a few moments before he’s done. He’s not a lap cat, but he’ll lie on me if I’m lying down.

“One of his silly quirks that always makes me smile is that he likes to lie on his back with his paws up, looking as if he’s in the ‘Thriller’ video!

“At night, Milo likes to sleep next to me in bed.”
