Harry and Mickey and Tom W. : Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail

“I adopted Harry from Furry Friends in April, shortly after my best friend and ‘adventure’ kitty, Lucky, passed away,” Tom says. “Harry was one year old and the purr-fect kitty for me.

“He came with his name, which I kept, because my dad was named Harry, and it held a very special meaning for me. Harry loves being close to me at all times: lying in a chair in my home office while I work, perching on the window seat in the breakfast nook next to my chair and curling up on my bed at night.

“An excellent traveling companion who goes everywhere I go, including my beach cabin on Puget Sound, Harry has already accompanied me to the Utah Red Rock parks in my RV for three weeks and to Montana on a fly fishing trip for a week. It won’t be long before he’s as awesome an ‘adventure’ cat as Lucky was!

“Most recently, I adopted a 5-month-old kitten I named Mickey in honor of my mom. He and Harry have become such great playmates. It’s so much fun living with them both. But as hard as I try to tell them what to do -- yeah right, they’re cats after all -- they don’t listen to me all of the time!

“Harry loves watching the birds and squirrels from his window seat. Both Harry and Mickey love playing with their catnip toys together and alone, and soon they’ll have a catio in which to frolic as well.

“These kitties add a richness to my life and make me smile all the time. Thank you, Furry Friends, for helping me recover from the loss of my Lucky.”
