Princess Felicia and Kay: Furry Friends Fur-Ever

“I have always had cats in the past,” says Kay. “When I lost the last of my four-legged babies, I was devastated and, then miraculously, the Furry Friends website ‘found me.’

“Amazingly, their shelter is only a few miles from where I live! The moment I met stunning white and black beauty Felicia (she even sports a black beauty mark on the left side of her nose) at the Furry Friends shelter, she literally stole my heart, and I knew that she was the one.

“Now lovingly crowned Princess Felicia, she adjusted to living in my home immediately. And after losing my previous black cat, Jack, of 20 years, she’s filling my loneliness with so much love and joy, and it wasn’t long before I realized that she had rescued ME!

“Strangely enough, she doesn’t really play with toys or enjoy games. She gets bored, then walks away. And although she prefers not to be picked up, she loves being petted behind her ears and neck and having her coat brushed. But what she especially enjoys is being smothered with lots of kisses ... she purrs and purrs and purrs whenever I do this.

“One of Felicia’s most endearing habits is that she LOVES to chat, especially at night when I need to sleep …LOL. But I do have conversations with her then -- to make her happy. She sleeps at the bottom area of my bed on a very soft and plush faux-fur bed mat.

“In short, I’m so very happy with this beautiful, sweet girl. I just LOVE her so much, and now she’s loving me back just as much.”
