Eeyore and the Mills family: Furry Friends Fur-Ever
“Having had cats in the past, we knew how wonderful kitty loving can be,” says Annabelle. “And so, we started searching for one to adopt.
“We met Eeyore at a Furry Friends adoption event at PetSmart. He was the first kitty who caught our eye when we walked in, and as soon as we picked him up, he melted right into our arms. We knew, then and there, that he was perfect for our family!
“Eeyore’s adjustment to our home was immediate. He was so open and so curious. He has truly made our lives 100% better. We are so happy to go to sleep with him and wake up with him. In fact, we recently adopted another kitty whose name is Rue so that Eeyore could have a friend. Needless to say, they are besties.
“Precocious and playful, Eeyore particularly loves wand toys, little mouse toys and kitty games from YouTube. And as far as affection is concerned, he’s the most snuggly kitty ever. He’s extremely vocal and will tell you when he wants pets and cuddles -- which is all of the time!
“What we find especially endearing about him is the way he responds whenever we talk to him. We tell him ‘bye’ when we leave and where we are going and always wait for his response. He responds when we say ‘I love you’ and ‘good night’ and ‘good morning!’
“At night, Eeyore either sleeps right in bed with us or in the cat tree with his bestie, Rue.”
