Bruce and Katherine Simich : Furry Friends Fur-Ever
“I recently adopted Pipsqueak who has since been re-named Bruce,” Katherine explains. “In fact, he’s the second cat I’ve adopted from Furry Friends. The first one was called Thomas, and he too was re-named. His current name is George.
“Oddly enough, Bruce wasn’t the cat I’d originally gone to meet at the shelter. However, when I sat down in his room, he immediately climbed onto my lap and started purring. I knew then and there that he was the one.
“Bruce is wonderfully and charmingly cuddly! He wants nothing more than to be held and snuggled all of the time – both by me and by my four children. He follows me everywhere I go throughout the day and sleeps on my pillow right next to my head every night.
“Bruce has truly changed my life by constantly reminding me that even if the start of his life was anything but auspicious, he’s so incredibly happy now! Remembering that and sharing in his happiness warms my heart. Not to mention the fact that my four sons are obsessed with giving him pets and showering him with kisses.”
