Kris Lisandrelli : Volunteer Spotlight

“I have been fostering kitties for Furry Friends since January of 2025,” says Kris.
“Prior to that, I had been a foster for 6 months with the Cowlitz County Humane Society until they were taken over, moving all of the cats to Vancouver while they remodeled the shelter. I had heard wonderful things about Furry Friends and wanted to come onboard.

“My last two cats had recently passed, and although I really missed having kitties to love on, I had begun traveling in my retirement, and didn’t want the worry of finding good pet sitters for them. Fostering has worked out well, allowing me to travel in between times of fostering.

“The hardest part for me is having to let them go when they find their forever homes. I want to keep them all!”
