Tido, Ellery, Echo and Storm and Jadie Mullen : Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail

“Our family decided to adopt a new kitty after we lost our two fur babies,” Jadie says. “Our bonded brother/sister kitties we adopted almost 10 years ago passed away at the age of 14.

“This left us with just one cat, Murtie, who was 9 years old. We could tell that he wasn’t happy being the only kitty in the house and decided to find a companion for him. Little did we know that this would lead to our current cat crew, and yet we couldn’t be happier!

“We first adopted Tido (originally Rowdy) with the help of Tanika. I had contacted Furry Friends and Tanika assured us that he would be wonderful with toddlers. And she was right! As soon as we got into the car, Tido broke out of the cardboard box and ‘chose’ my 2-year-old as his favorite person.

“Although he got along famously with Murtie, he was so very playful that we immediately decided to adopt another, younger cat. We contacted Tanika again and subsequently attended a Furry Friends adoption event. My 4-year-old fell in love with Ellery, and we couldn’t say ‘no.’ All three cats have done so well together, and my toddlers love them. They get up every morning and spend time playing with our precious kitty trio.

“Last summer, we built a large catio and decided that we could accommodate some more cats! After contacting Tanika and Jenn, we met them at the shelter to see who would be a good fit. This time my partner fell in love with a bonded brother/sister pair, Echo and Storm (originally Eros and Agnus) because they reminded us of the bonded brother/sister pair we had lost.

“Without a doubt, we have the best cat crew and are so happy that we decided to add more! They all have their own personalities and get along so easily together. We always recommend Furry Friends to anyone who wants to adopt a cat. In fact, my mom and several co-workers have adopted theirs from them.

“It’s now been one year and all of the cats – Tido, Ellery, Echo and Storm -- have brought us so much love and joy.”
