Lady Edwina and Jeri Rossi: Furry Friends Fur-Ever

“I have had many cats all of my life,” Jeri says.“When I looked at the photos posted on the Furry Friends website, I was immediately atttacted to her Dr. Seuss look. Although I’ve had Persians in the past, I haven’t had a Scottish Fold. I met then named Moshi at the shelter and after adopting her, I changed her name to Lady Edwina Edinburgh: She IS a Scottish Fold, after all.

“Her adjustment to living in my home was gradual and she hid for awhile. Now … I am her servant! While I don’t have any other pets at this time, I want to adopt a kitten to be her companion, especially when I’m at work. 

“Lady Edwina LOVES playing with toys. She loves batting a yarn ball around at all hours and proudly yowls in the wee hours of the morning as she brings me the yarn ball she’s just proudly ‘caught.’

“While she’s not a cuddler so far, she has two of the most endearing habits: When we touch faces, she licks my nose, and she loves watching her ‘soaps’ (Youtube birdbath videos).

“At night, she’s most comfortable sleeping in a Rockstar drink box.”
