Kiki and the Wagners : Furry Friends Fur-Ever

“We found a little kitten in the bushes near our daughter’s bus stop, and didn’t think we’d be able to coax her out of the bushes because she was so scared,” explains Karina.

“We promptly contacted Furry Friends and asked if someone was available to come and rescue her. To our relief, help arrived quickly. Within hours, they had successfully lured the frightened kitten out of the bushes and transported her to the safety of their shelter.

“The more our family thought about her, the more we simply couldn’t resist the temptation of reaching out to Furry Friends and seeing if we could adopt her. After waiting until after she had been spayed and had received all of the requisite vaccines, we were -- most excitedly -- able to adopt her and bring her home.

“We named our little kitten Kiki. Fortunately, she gets along wonderfully with our one-year-old cat Roba. Roba loves grooming Kiki and they both love playing and sleeping together. Although Kiki is a playful kitten, she’s still sometimes fearful around new people.

“Our 8-year-old daughter and Kiki are the best of friends and they enjoy playing together every day."
