Finn and the Winters: Furry Friends Fur-Ever
“I have had cats my whole life,” Stefan says. “My wife and I read the profiles of various cats on the Furry Friends website and decided to attend one of their adoption events at PetSmart.
“Finn was alone in a far corner of the room, barely moving. I opened the cage and he slowly came out with a fullblown purr and head butts! We adopted him then and there. And although we kept his original name, we call him Romeo as well because he’s such an absolute lover.
“We had to get him acclimated slowly to his older sister. They are now thick as thieves, playing together and chasing each other throughout the entire house all day. While Finn loves all of his toys, he’s especially fond of the strings on sticks.
“Being a lover, he thrives on attention, and adores being petted and cuddled. As for his most endearing quirk that makes us smile? Finn has a nightly routine where he follows us to bed and then likes to attack our hands or feet under the covers. He spends the rest of the night sleeping in our room, oftentimes in the closet as well as with us in bed.”
