Furry Friends Needs You!

SPONSOR A PET -You can help a homeless pet by becoming a Pet Sponsor.  Just $50 per month covers food, medical care and supplies. You choose the pet from our adoption list. Your name will be listed as that pet's sponsor. Furry Friends will provide all the love and care and make sure your sponsored pet is given every opportunity to be adopted.  Volunteers are needed to help work at our Half-Way Home residence for foster cats  seeking new homes. Typical duties include feeding, watering, cleaning, and keeping records. Oftentimes, individual cats need specific medical care. Shifts usually last a minimum of three hours and are once or twice a week.

YES, YOU CAN ALSO HELP WITHOUT ADOPTING OR FOSTERING!
There are many ways private citizens can assist pets without adopting or fostering.  Here are some ideas and ways we can use volunteers.
    transport pets to the vet
    donate bedding, litter, paper products, food
    donate funds for spay, neuter, vaccines
    donate a carrier, cage, crate
    donate toys
    donate glass water dishes, correlle saucers
    donate treats, grooming supplies
    pay for pet to be groomed
    donate phone cards, help answer incoming phone calls
    help with copies, administrative paperwork
    donate pet store gift certificates
    hostess pet showings
    donate cleaning supplies, laundry soap
    donate cost of training classes
    donate time for fund raising
    donate office supplies, postage
    help with soliciting the public on special events, donations
    provide adoption support and follow up
    pay for an ad to place a pet
    donate other services if you own a business
    donate time to care for foster cats
