Don’t abandon your pet!
Your pet cannot fend for itself
PEOPLE magazine had a good article in their April 2009 magazine. It focused on the pets people are leaving behind as they are forced to move or can no longer feed them. No pet should be left behind to fend for themselves. They are clueless about what is happening, and are unable to get food on a daily basis, keep warm and dry, or away from predators.

Surrendering your pet
Finding a new home for your pet
People might be financially strapped, but there are alternatives. Free advertising is available at supermarkets, groomers, veterinarian offices, pet stores, colleges and Craig’s List. Use word of mouth with your friends, neighbors, family members, co-workers, to find them a home. The humane societies are euthanizing OVER HALF of all cats brought into their facility. Honor the commitment you made to these animals when you brought them into your home and see them safely into a new home if you cannot care for them.
